Want to end violence and help families who have lost loved ones to violence work through their pain? Pledge your commitment to Peace! Join thousands of caring individuals walking to make a difference on May 11, 2014.   

1. Register Today!

Registration is FREE. Register yourself, friends, and family here.
Participants are encouraged to raise as many pledges as possible to help fund the programs of the Peace Institute, but there is no fundraising minimum to participate.

2. Donate today!

Donate today and help us meet our $200,000 Walk goal!
Give online or by sending a check to LDBPI, 1452 Dorchester Ave. Dorcherster MA, 02122. Make sure to write in the memo to which team, if any, we should credit your donation. 

3. Start a Virtual or Walking Team!

Set a fundraising goal and Increase the impact you make by asking your friends and family to support the Peace Institute with you. With social fundraising, it has never been easier to reach your fundraising goals. The best part is that you can personalize your fundraising team page with your own story and message to show others why the Peace Institute is important to you. Learn more here.

4. Be a Sponsor!

Sponsoring the Mother’s Day Walk for Peace will garner positive community recognition, admiration, and support for your business and demonstrate your company’s commitment to building a peaceful Boston. You can also sponsor a team. Learn more here.

5. Volunteer!

Volunteers are a critical component contributing to the success of the Mother's Day Walk for Peace. Volunteers make a difference as their participation and fundraising accomplishments help ensure that we minimize our expenses and maximize our revenues. Learn more here.

6. Raise awareness About the Walk

     a)  Inform local papers that you are participating.
     b) Tell your friends about the Walk!
     c)  Ask your contacts to support your participation in the Walk or to join your team.
     d) Encourage your employers to become a sponsor.  
     e) Be social, share  on twitter and facebook!  #mothersdaywalk4peace    
     f) Print out our brochures and posters and distribute them in your community!
