"Just thinking about the love that you show in your actions every day for your dearly beloved son Louis. What an incredible impact you've made in so many peoples lives, including my own. You're an incredible inspiration and the best mother on earth. Thank you Tina for the example that you set for all mothers. As We know, love never ends. Choosing love."

Thank you for all you do to be a voice and helping so man families of victim of Homicide.
My family was honored to walk and wear our T-shirt that said JUSTICE FOR CHRISTOPHER ON JUNE 9, 2014, it was the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute helped us get Justice for Christopher who was a son, grandson, brother and nephew, who we miss each day, but getting justice, has helped us start to heal and we are for ever grateful.
I know a lot of family don't get the JUSTICE for their loved one, but I pray for JUSTICE AND PEACE to each loved one affected by homicide.
Never give up for JUSTICE it will come.
I was sure if I could walk all those miles, with having leg issue, due to having MS, but I know Christopher's was there helping me
God Bless

It was a privilege to meet you yesterday and a pleasure to walk.  I’d been wanting to do the Mother’s Day Walk for Peace for several years, since I first heard of it. Now that I’ve moved to Boston and work at The Brigham where there is a team to walk with, it was a no-brainer! It was easy to ask for support from friends, colleagues, and loved ones to support such an important organization.

I was raised by a devoted and committed peace activist who works tirelessly to end nation to nation violence through her work with The Gray Panthers and Code Pink. I walked in honor of my mom, and to support peace on the community level.

Thank you for all of your work to end interpersonal and community violence and for educating us all about how to live with peace and love.  I hope to see you next year for the 20th anniversary of the Mother’s Day Walk for Peace.

I am forever grateful to you , for assisting me in my time of grief, when my only child, Charisse Carter was murdered in 2004.

Thanks for all you do for those who have experienced this horrific grief.
May God continue to provide your needs and to Bless you.
